While waiting for results to come in after election day, ILPS US and San Francisco Committee on Human Rights in the Philippines (SFHRCP) gathered on November 7 to demand “No Coup! No Fascism!”

“Each day Duterte is in power, the human rights crisis worsens, as the budget for counterinsurgency operations has increased from 20M Pesos to 20B Pesos, which we know will be used to attack human rights workers, indigenous people, and the suffering peasant community”, SFHRCP said.
